The Testimonials series was Consent is Key's first thematic focus. People who have experienced sexual violence share their stories, accompanied by the perspective of an expert, in awareness videos. The goal is to listen, understand, and become aware of the realities of sexual violence in higher education. In this capsule, an anonymous student shares the story of a gang rape where drug and alcohol use was involved. Accompanied by Laurie Fradette-Drouin, sexologist and research coordinator at UQAM, the capsule explores substance use issues in higher education, myths surrounding sexual violence, and the concept of informed consent.
