Consent and sexual violence in sports

  • Identify different forms of sexual coercion and issues related to consent in sports
  • Recognize risky situations, including initiations, hazing, and other party contexts
  • Identify the impacts of sexual violence on victims
  • Understand the challenges related to disclosure
  • Adopt appropriate behaviours when someone discloses and contribute to a safe and supportive environment
  • Define the role of an active bystander and identify intervention strategies
