Consent and sexual violence in sports

- Define sexual violence in college and university sports

- Identify different forms of sexual coercion and issues related to consent in sports
- Recognize risky situations, including initiations, hazing, and other party contexts
- Identify the impacts of sexual violence on victims
- Understand the challenges related to disclosure
- Adopt appropriate behaviours when someone discloses and contribute to a safe and supportive environment
- Define the role of an active bystander and identify intervention strategies
